Source: 1940s obituaries collected by Rose Marie Sutherlin provided to kbz via Betty Dotson (one great lady and genealogist – both were and ironically, I have been cleaning my genealogy things out and found this on the day Betty passed – probably had it for years when Rose Marie passed as fairly sure Betty received much of her things and Betty likely already had one of these)

Mrs. Helen Allen Dice, lifelong resident of Covington died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Monday morning. She was born here on November 15, 1874, the daughter of James L. Allen, 1st and Louissa Campbell Allen, and on Nov 11, 1902 was married to Courtney William Dice. Surviving are the husband and one son, Lt (Sg) William Dice of the US Navy now stationed in Philadelphia; a daughter, Miss Catherine Dice, teacher in the Bradentown schools and a niece and nephew, living in Covington. Note: Helen born 16 Nov 1874 died 16 Oct 1944 buried Mt Hope in Covington
